Appellate Litigation

Our Appellate Litigation practice includes representing clients in writs, appeals and lawsuits challenging and defending the actions of administrative agencies and courts. The firm has extensive experience in appellate matters related to the decisions of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), including issues such as jurisdiction and preemption that often arise in review of those decisions.

Our appellate lawyers have appeared in numerous cases before the California Court of Appeal, the California Supreme Court, and the United States Courts of Appeals and Supreme Court. We are familiar with the unique procedures that govern appeals from the decisions of various state and federal administrative agencies, in particular those of the CPUC.
