Ruth Stoner Muzzin Elected President of the Conference of California Public Utilities Counsel
Ruth Stoner Muzzin has been elected as President of the Conference of California Public Utilities Counsel (CCPUC) for its 2019 board year.
The CCPUC is a non-profit mutual benefit corporation that has been in existence for over 20 years, and is registered as a specialty bar association with the state bar of California. Its membership consists primarily of attorneys practicing in the areas of energy, telecommunications, transportation, and water.
Members represent a cross-section of the public utility bar in California, working for private law firms, public utilities, telecommunications carriers, water companies, cable companies, and electric service providers, as well as public interest organizations and industry associations.
The CCPUC is dedicated to providing education and training on current issues pertaining to utility regulation at both the state and federal levels.
